Welding & Fabrication Technology
Welcome to the Department of Welding & Fabrication Technology at Idofed Polytechnic. Our program is designed to equip students with practical mastery, technical expertise, and engineering principles required to excel in modern metal fabrication, structural construction, and industrial manufacturing.
Through hands-on workshop experience and state-of-the-art laboratory training, students master a wide variety of welding processes, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG), and oxy-fuel cutting. Guided by seasoned instructors and industry specialists, our graduates develop the precision, safety habits, and quality-assurance skills necessary to build and inspect critical infrastructure across the energy, manufacturing, and construction sectors.

Completion of foundational coursework in Engineering Drawing, Workshop Technology, and Applied Mathematics.

Professional Experience
