Computer Engineering Technology

Welcome to the Department of Computer Engineering at Idofed Polytechnic. Our program bridges the gap between hardware architecture and software engineering, preparing students to design, develop, and optimize next-generation computing systems and embedded technology.

Through hands-on laboratory work, circuit testing, and system design projects, students gain deep expertise in computer architecture, microprocessors, embedded systems, digital logic design, and hardware-software integration. Course Requirement

• Successful completion of foundational coursework in Digital Logic, Circuit Analysis, and Mathematics.

• Practical laboratory experience in microprocessor programming, circuit simulation, and embedded hardware configuration.

• Active participation in hardware-software integration projects and workshop sessions.

• Demonstration of proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) and system diagnostics.
